Guide · What we do

An AEO agencyin India. Here isexactly what we do.

AccessAegis is an answer engine optimisation agency based in India. We audit how ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews answer the questions your buyers ask, fix what is published so the engines can read and quote it, and report every month, per engine, whether you are named. No packages and no deck. It starts with a fifteen-minute call.

Who it is for

Founders and marketing leads at Indian companies whose buyers ask an AI assistant before they buy: D2C brands, SaaS, clinics, edtech, marketplaces. The copy on this site assumes no prior knowledge of AEO, because most of the people we talk to are hearing the term for the first time and have already lost the shortlist.

We have measured 20 Indian brands across 18 categories and one full category, payroll and HRMS, on four engines. The numbers are published, winners and zero-named brands alike, on the research page and the case study.

How we work

  1. Audit. We run the real questions your buyers ask through ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and AI Overviews. We log who gets named, in what order, and which pages each engine read to decide.
  2. Fix. We open the site to every engine's crawler, mark up what is already published with the schema each engine reads, add an llms.txt, and hand your team a page-by-page brief for what is missing. Your writers write; we check it.
  3. Publish. On your site, in your voice, checked by you before anything goes live.
  4. Monitor. We re-run the questions every week and send one report a month in plain numbers: named or not, per engine, against the competitors that beat you.

What you get

  • A written baseline: your share of answers, per engine, per question, with the sources each engine read.
  • Crawler access fixed for GPTBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended and ClaudeBot, including the CDN and firewall settings that silently block them.
  • Schema on pricing, comparison and FAQ pages: Organization, Product, Offer in rupees, FAQ.
  • An llms.txt, a clean sitemap, and one consistent set of company facts across the site.
  • A page-level brief for every buyer question you are losing: which page answers it, what it must state, in what order.
  • An audit of the third-party record, G2, Capterra, SoftwareSuggest, Reddit and your category's roundups, for missing, wrong or rupee-less entries.
  • One report a month. The ROI sentence first, then the citation-share trend per engine against baseline, what shipped, before-and-after answer quotes, and at most three priorities for next month. A flat month is reported as a flat month.

How we measure

A mention is your brand appearing as a whole word in an answer. Your share is the number of answers that name you divided by the number of answers, scored per engine and separately for questions that contain your name and questions that do not. The unbranded number is the one that matters, and it is the one we report on.

Client audits run identical buyer-intent questions through each engine's live search-grounded API so the same set can be re-run every week. Answers vary between runs and the consumer apps add personalisation the API does not capture, so we report trends, not single readings. An engine we have not measured is reported as not yet measured, never assumed.

What we do not promise

We do not promise rankings, and we do not guarantee an outcome, because nobody controls what an engine writes. We promise to measure your citation share honestly, to do the work that moves it, and to tell you in plain numbers what moved and what did not.

We do not write your pages. Your team knows the product; we tell them exactly what each page has to say for an engine to quote it, and we check it before it goes live.

Pricing

We do not publish a rate card, because the work differs with how many buyer questions you are losing and on how many engines. The intro call costs nothing: fifteen minutes, we run ten of your buyers' questions live and show you who gets named. You leave with the baseline whether or not we work together.

Questions

Do you write the content?

No. We write the brief for each page, your team writes the page in your voice, and we check it before it goes live. Engines quote pages that sound like the company, not like an agency.

Which AI engines do you cover?

ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews. Client monitoring runs through the engines' search-grounded APIs; where an engine cannot yet be measured that way, the report says so rather than guessing.

Do you need access to our website?

For the audit, no. For the fixes, we need whoever can change robots rules, the CDN settings, page markup and the sitemap. Most of the technical work is a short list of changes your developer makes in a day or two from our brief.

How quickly will we be named?

We do not promise a date. Crawler and markup fixes take effect as soon as the engines re-crawl. Presence on the third-party sources the engines count builds more slowly and compounds. The monthly report shows the trend per engine.

Where are you based?

India. We run every audit from India, logged in as an Indian user, because that is what your buyers see. Prices are in rupees and examples are Indian.

Fifteen minutes. We'll run ten of your buyers'questions live.

No deck. You see who gets named today, per engine, and leave with the baseline whether or not we work together.
